The relationship between Dwarves and Frostwings is continued along with some prominent Morehl and Feral Characters. The different factions are given more depth as some seem to be turning to worship Death exclusively and abandoning their traditional Elements. Translate: Evil Dwarves and Smart Goblins...! Another great edition to the Lore of Esfah.

Eye of the Storm is the second in the Cyrean Songs saga. This book picks up with the next generation after those who were the protagonists in the previous book. This is an amazing expansion of the world, a great way to see how the world has changed after the last book, and the continuation and repercussions of choices made by protagonists from the last novel. This book had me on the edge of my seat through several of the battles and intrigue throughout!

whether you are a Dragon Dice fan or just a Fantasy fan in general this book is a great read. The world of Esfah is full of Elves, Goblins,Dragons and many more.Do your self a Favor and pick up this series of books....and more Importantly pick up some Dragon Dice and get playing.

Christopher and Sherif really knocked it out of the park with this one. Even though I've been critical of the books in the past, I've eagerly awaited each installment and have preordered the books each time. Christopher's dialogue always comes across as natural between the characters and the action sequences are top notch!
Picking up just a few years after the events of the first Cyrean Songs book by the late Joseph Joiner, Eye of the Storm follows the new generation of heroes, namely Ra'al son of Thrag and Coryn sa'Geril, daughter of Geril "Dragonsbane" sa'Gherin as they embark on a whirlwind adventure of their own to recover the Magestorm artifacts in order to stop the rising threat of the Undead in the Shadowlands.
From start to finish I was engaged in the narrative, expertly woven by both authors and I eagerly await the third book in the trilogy!
