Beckett Family
Despite a plot that has been written many times before, Christopher Schmitz wrote a tale that was compelling. The characters were fleshed out and you could easily envision his scenes!

WOW, book 0 scared me so badly, BUT I COULD NOT STOP READING!! I hate rats, but I almost felt sorry for "Little Satan" as he was injected with an entity from as experiment that was term "in the name of ". I AM SO NOT READY FOR SO CALLED SCIENNCE THANK YOU VERY MUCH! Doctor Jimmy Swaggert did not believe in ghost, aliens and God, but HE SHOULD HAVE BEELIEVED IN SATAN AS HE AMD TWO OTHER SCIENTIST UNLEASHED HOLY HELL ON A UNIVERSITY TOWN!

A really good intro to the series, with likeable main characters and a previously evil little antagonist. Can't wait to get stuck into Book 1 of the Shadowless series today.

This was a great story that reads like an awesome horror movie. I loved the evil entity in this one and cant wait for book 1 to see where Christopher takes this story!!

Suspenseful and scary, this prequel sets the tone for the masterful story which follows. This gives an early look, as the scientists meet and begin their experiments. Of course, things don't go well and will have far-reaching ramifications. I was able to read the ARC preview and was riveted through the whole series.
